The Letters of John F. Kennedy is just what it says on the label—a book of letters by and to John F. Kennedy. With such a collection of letters you have notes, memos, formal letters, telegrams…a plethora of letter elements that have to be distinguished from each other and still hang together, that have to be visibly individual entities but also be clearly distinct from the introductory matter and chapter opening text.
