As this book is about throwing all-girl poker parties, it needed a design that was fun and a bit feminine–and that would clearly distinguish between and also unite a large number of disparate elements. So I deconstructed the cover image and reassembled the pieces to supply several different identifiers, a sampling of which you can see above. I further enhanced the “party” feel by choosing a font with a subtly informal feel.
